Himachal Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Travel from Chandigarh to Shimla

• Reach a predecided spot in Chandigarh to meet the representative who will help you with the transfers to Shimla.
• On the way to Shimla, take a halt at Pinjore Garden to admire the beauty of the best 17th century Mughal Garden.
• After reaching Shimla, check in to the hotel and relax for a bit after the tiresome journey.
• The rest of the day is at leisure and you can choose to explore the surroundings on your own.
• Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Shimla.

Day 2 - Sightseeing in Shimla and Excursion to Kufri

• After a wholesome breakfast, get ready for a day full of excitement.
• Start off by visiting Kufri, a quaint hill station near Shimla that never fails to mesmerize the onlookers at every turn.
• Get a glance at the rare and exotic Himalayan animal species at the Himalayan Nature Park.
• One of the unique things to do in Kufri is to ride on the back of the slow, prodding, fluffy animals - The Yak.
• Once you get back to Shimla, Visit the Christ Church which is located on the bustling Mall Road.
• You will also visit the iconic Gaiety Theatre and Grindlays Bank to get a glance at the beautiful colonial architecture.
• Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 3 - Shimla to Manali

• Get up early in the morning and have a scrumptious breakfast.
• Check out from the hotel and proceed towards Manali.
• Enjoy the scenic views of the foothills of the Himalayas as the cold wind brushes against your cheeks.
• On reaching Manali, check in to the hotel and relax for some time.
• The rest of the day at leisure and you can explore the surroundings on your own.
• Enjoy the overnight stay at your hotel in Manali.

Day 4 - Excursion to Rohtang Pass

• Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning before taking the scenic route to the Rohtang Pass.
• On the way, stopover at the Solang valley to witness the majestic Rahalla Falls.
• Solang valley is a popular spot for adventure activities and you can enjoy skiing, sledge ride, mountain biking, snow scooter, ski ride and at additional charges.
• You will then proceed towards Rohtang, and on the way start exploring landmarks like Nehru Kund, Kothi, Gulaba and Marhi, you can also enjoy some adventure sports in Rohtang like skiing, snow scooter, tyre drop etc.
• Later in the evening, head back to Manali for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Sightseeing in Manali

• After having a filling breakfast, you will proceed to explore Manali in detail.
• You will be visiting famous attractions like the Hadimba Temple, Club House, Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, Vashisht Temple, and others.
• The evening is at leisure and you can explore the various markets of Manali shopping for souvenirs.
• Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Manali.

Day 6 - Manali to Dharamshala

• After having a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel you will be starting your journey towards Dharamshala.
• On your way, you will witness the beautiful views of Kullu Valley, Palampur Tea Gardens, Baijnath, and Chamunda Devi Temple.
• After reaching Dharamshala, check in to your hotel and take some rest.
• The remaining day is at leisure and you can explore the surroundings on your own.
• Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day 7 -Transfer to Dalhousie

• Wake up in the morning and after having breakfast check out from the hotel.
• Today you will be travelling to Dalhousie and on the way, you will be visiting the quaint little town of Mcleodganj also known as 'Little Lhasa'.
• You will also take a short detour to St. John in the Wilderness Church, built-in neo-gothic architecture, it is known to be the last resting place of Lord Elgin.
• You will then proceed to spend some quality time at Dal Lake.
• Once you reach Dalhousie, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Excursion to Khajjiar

• Enjoy a toothsome breakfast and get ready to explore the Mini Switzerland of India.
• Get picked up from your hotel and travel through the lush green valleys to reach Khajjiar, a hill station set amidst the dense deodar forest filled with clumps of reeds and green meadows that adds to its overall refreshing charm.
• On reaching Khajjiar visit the 12th-century temple dedicated to KhajjI Nag, within the temple is life-size wooden images of the Pandava brothers.
• The beauty of Khajjiar is further enhanced by a small lake with a floating island in the centre and a beautiful 9-hole golf course.
• Later in the evening return back to Dalhousie for the overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 9 - Dalhouise to Amritsar

• Enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading towards Amritsar.
• On reaching Amritsar, check in to the hotel and relax for a little while.
• Later in the afternoon, you will be proceeding to attend the Beating Retreat Ceremony at the Wagah Border along with the flag-lowering ceremony on India - Pakistan Border.
• After a lot of hooting and excitement, head back to the hotel in Amritsar for an overnight stay.

Day 10 - Sightseeing in Amritsar and Departure

• On the last day of your Himachal Pradesh tour package from Chandigarh, you will be exploring the best of Amritsar.
• After having breakfast, check out from your hotel and start the sightseeing tour of the city.
• You will be visiting the Golden Temple that welcomes everyone with its divine golden walls, mouthwatering langar and crystal blue pond.
• You will also be visiting the Jallianwala Bagh, where the massacre led by General Dyer, soaked the entire ground in blood.
• After paying respects to the Amar Jyoti, you can go shopping in the local markets and savour the buttery, spicy street food.
• Later in the evening, you will be travelling back to Chandigarh.
• Once you reach Chandigarh it marks the end of the trip.
